Located at the CHSA Museum in Chinatown, San Francisco, We Are Bruce Lee is an exhibit featuring contemporary art and historical artifacts that celebrates the remarkable life of a Chinese American icon, who transcended race, geography, and culture through uncanny strength and resilience.

Purpose

During these troubling times of economic and social strife, this exhibit will educate, inspire, and unite people of all backgrounds to embrace the very best qualities of themselves, just as Bruce Lee did throughout his tragically short life.

What to expect

Visitors will see rarely displayed artifacts including drawings and handwritten letters, historic photos, memorabilia, video and film, artwork, and technology designed to create interactive, graphically stunning displays.

By examining Bruce Lee’s different personas — visionary, unifier, athlete, thinker — visitors will gain a rich, more in-depth understanding of a man whose influence extends well beyond movies and television shows.
